Message Seems like the guy is reluctant to help you like we are. I live in SoCal too and I know Greg is swamped.
Did you try bypassing the Det Sensor temporarily and just run low boost (I.e. no more than 10psi for now). If you dont have a boost controller, dont sweat it for now thats better. If you do, turn down the boost and keep it down. Now is not a race time, its a fix time.
Your hesitation and errattic idle could be many things. Dirty throttle bodies, dirty CAS, clogged AIV's maybe? or some other stuff found in search. If the mechanic says it feels like a turbo is blown, it sounds like he is guessing at things. Did he check to see if the turbo is making pressure? They have a pressure checker. I would suggest letting Greg D. check your car.
